S&P Global Commodity Insights

S&P Global Commodity Insights is a division of S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) - the world’s foremost provider of credit ratings, benchmarks, analytics and workflow solutions in the global energy, capital and commodity markets.

In March 2022, S&P Global Platts and IHS Markit ENR combined to become S&P Global Commodity Insights, and publish news, commentary, fundamental market data, research, analysis, and thousands of daily price assessments widely used as benchmarks in the physical and futures markets.

Pexapark and S&P Global Commodity Insights entered into a partnership in June 2022 to jointly create renewable energy price indices, to provide more transparency in renewable energy markets.
